Strategic Partners
Strategic Partners are integral to Glimmer Austin’s mission, representing a select group of larger grant recipients with whom we maintain multiple, close working relationships. These partnerships go beyond financial support; they involve deep collaboration and continuous engagement with their leadership teams.
Homelessness
Community First! Village is a master planned neighborhood that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women who are coming out of chronic homelessness. A development of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, this transformative residential program exists to love and serve our neighbors who have been living on the streets, while also empowering the surrounding community into a lifestyle of service with the homeless.
Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center is the largest provider of homeless services in Travis County! We offer pathways to housing for people experiencing homelessness through low-barrier access to wraparound services by providing innovative, trauma-informed, and person-centered programming that engages our communities and leads system-wide transformation.
Hunger
Women & Children
The SAFE Alliance exists to stop abuse for everyone by serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence. We are dedicated to ending violence through prevention, advocacy, and comprehensive services for individuals, families, and communities that have been affected by abuse.
Jeremiah Program serves single moms and their children experiencing poverty in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to disrupt the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children, two generations at a time. JP believes that no mother should have to choose between investing in herself and her children.
Casa Marianella welcomes displaced immigrants and asylum seekers and promotes self-sufficiency by providing shelter and support services. In addition to shelter, Casa offers access to legal and medical resources, food, clothing, English classes, and other essential services. The majority of our residents come to us directly from detention centers.
