Glimmer’s founder and CEO, Donna Berber, is stepping down from her day-to-day role and has appointed Alicyn Yarbrough as Glimmer’s new CEO.
Donna is looking forward to spending more time with her family, especially her beautiful granddaughter, but will remain an active part of Glimmer through her role as executive chair of the board. The Berber family’s commitment to Glimmer and Ethiopia is as strong as ever.
Alicyn has been at Glimmer in a senior leadership role for the past nine years. She and Donna are strongly aligned on the vision and path for Glimmer moving forward, and we’re excited for the continued growth and expansion of our work!
